Five reasons to hire the Beyoncé stan
In this dissertation, I —
So, you’re looking to hire someone for a role, you’ve done your rounds of interviews and you’re down to 3 candidates. They’re all qualified and smart, any of them would be perfect, but you don’t know whom to choose. Well, think no more, here’s a good decider for the best candidate:
“Are you in the hive?”
On the surface, that might seem like a trivial question, but here’s five reasons why that question is so important, and why you should hire the Beyoncé stan.
- They live and die by Quality
I mean, think about it, just like Queen B, they’re all about quality. They won’t be caught slipping. They will deliver perfection, every fucking time. You know why? Because Beyoncé has never had a better previous drop (if you don’t count Everything is Love ofcourse), so you can be sure they will raise the bar for perfection all day, every day.
2. They do their job and mind their business
They might come for your weakass company potlucks out of respect, but they come in, do their job and leave. You won’t catch them gossiping and doing things that do not add to their paycheck. Nah, Beyoncé could never!
3. They always deliver
This might look like a repetition of the first point, but not really, you know who has never said “Album drops in 2019” and goes on to ignore 2019? Not Beyoncé and that will never be someone in the Hive. If someone in the Hive says the project will be delivered on X date, you can bet your kidneys it will be delivered on X date.
4. They’re obviously good business
It takes a Beyoncé to make a historical coachella performance, then sell the performance she was already paid for to Netflix as a special and also release the best live album of 2019 — Members of the hive are all about that making money life, so you will get at least 10x your ROI. They might cost you a lot as employees because they know their worth, but they will also make you a lot more.
5. It doesn’t make sense to hire someone that isn’t in the hive
I mean, think about it for a minute, or wait, just a second, why would someone not be in the hive? Like what is the underlying problem with them? You sure don’t want to find out. I mean, it shows a lack in taste, quality, and greatness to not be in the hive. Do you really want that bad vibes on your team? Do you?
Do the right thing today, hire the Beyoncé stan!
